Dear Ezekiel Eyes Patients

Welcome to another Newsletter.

I have been fortunate enough to be involved in the launch of 3 new innovative contact lens products.

The Opti-Free Pro range of products are two new wetting agents.  These products are to be pro-actively incorporated into a patient’s contact lens wearing regime.

We find as contact lens specialists that patients who drop out of contact lens wear do so due to dryness and/or discomfort of the contact lenses.

Opti-Free Pro lubricating drops are essentially a lipid drop replacement.  Patients with dry eyes have a very small lipid layer in their tears.  With a small lipid layer we have increased evaporation in our tears and therefore a drier eye and drier contact lenses.  We encourage patients to use the Opti-Free Pro on awakening and before bed time.  Please contact Kai and I for more details.

Opti-Free moisturing drops are to be used pro-actively during the day with contact wear.  This drop will help to keep our contact lenses wetter for longer during the day.  We all have competition during the day with computers and air conditioners and it is important to keep our eyes and contact lenses from drying out.  Please contact Kai and I for more details.

Thirdly, there is a major improvement to AOSept Plus hydrogen peroxide contact lens disinfecting solution.  The addition of Hydraglyde is a tremendous new wetting agent that was added to the Opti-Free disinfecting range in Pure Moist.  The addition of Hydroglyde enables an AOSept Plus with Hydroglyde to not only be a terrific contact lens disinfectant but also to have a wetting agent added to the solution.  This will increase the continual day long wettability of our contact lenses.

Please feel free to contact Kai or I with any queries as we would love to help you to be a successful contact lens wearer.
