Kai graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Optometry (Hons)/Bachelor of Science in 2011. He also holds a Diploma in Optometry from Singapore Polytechnic, awarded in 2004.
Kai has worked at the Raffles Eye Centre at Singapore’s Raffles Hospital and the NEW Optometry and Ocular Centre Pte Ltd, also in Singapore.
He was a Signal Specialist in Singapore’s Armed Forces, serving in the 23rd Battalion Singapore Artillery between 2004 and 2006.
Kai is fluent in English and Mandarin. He seeks to achieve a high level of professionalism in optometry and contribute back to the community.
